Try to change your code to this:

perform bdc_field       using 'BDC_CURSOR'            GWA_ACTUAL_ENTRIES-ANSSA.     "'08/03'.

perform bdc_field       using 'BDC_OKCODE'           '=PICK'.

write if this won't help.
